| Paddling through the Yen Hao Canal to this place in Binh Dai District’s Thoi Thuan Commune, you will find a beach seven kilometres long filled with the snails. The wind blows from the northeast, bringing the creatures to shore, according to locals. |

| "This shore is the only place that sees such a huge quantity of snails. Every year, the snails wash ashore and build a natural wall to protect our fields," local resident Le Van Phuoc said. |

Ben Tre Province in southern Vietnam is just minutes away from crowds yet seems to retain the feeling of being a complete backwater. Certainly it is an extremely scenic province in the Mekong Delta region. There are quiet waterways, palms, orchards and houses constructed with bamboo and thatch. Clean Water Filtration Systems Donated to Support Children in Ben Tre Province
With support from HSBC Vietnam, the Clean Water program installed three clean water filtration systems at An Ngai Trung Primary School, Phuoc Ngai Primary School, and My Chanh Primary School in Ba Tri district, Ben Tre province. These systems will provide clean, safe drinking water to 1,946 children and 124 teachers, and is especially relevant during the months when saltwater intrusion is most dangerous.
