German - Vietnamese Artists Exhibit "Weaving Perspective"
	Belarusian Artists Take Hanoi Stage

The exhibition brings together four Vietnamese-American artists: Anh Bach (Bach Hoang Anh), Mina Ho Ferrante (Ho Mong Nha Uyen), Tim Nguyen (Nguyen Ky Quy), and Ly Tran (Tran Phuong Ly).

Held at the Ho Chi Minh City Museum of Fine Arts from February 3 to February 21, the event presents diverse artistic viewpoints from artists who live and work in the US.

Despite residing in different states, the artists share a common connection through their Vietnamese heritage. This shared bond has allowed them to come together and organize the “Hello Vietnam” exhibition.

According to artist Mina Ho Ferrante, the idea for the exhibition originated from Tim Nguyen’s long-standing wish to one day return to Vietnam to paint and introduce his artwork. This conversation laid the foundation for their artistic journey.

4 artists collaborate in the exhibition.

“From strangers living in different time zones, we found each other through art and returned to our homeland for this exhibition,” shared artist Ly Tran.

Returning to Vietnam for the first time to showcase his work after over 20 years in Hawaii, Tim Nguyen presents a collection of paintings that depict everyday life on the island.

"I feel fortunate to live and do what I love in a place surrounded by blue seas and white sands. I want to portray life here authentically and gently while maintaining artistic depth.

This exhibition is a chance to introduce our works and an opportunity for us to meet and exchange experiences. For me, painting is not just a passion but also a profession," expressed Tim Nguyen.

Meanwhile, Ly Tran pursues a conceptual realism style. Her works convey reflections, emotions, and aspirations through metaphorical imagery, sometimes evoking a sense of surrealism and detachment from reality.

Anh Bach, on the other hand, focuses on the theme of women, capturing them in moments of peace and contentment, such as reading a book, applying makeup, or basking in golden sunlight.

"In real life, women endure numerous worries and hardships. That is why, in my paintings, I want them to appear serene and happy," she shared.

Anh Bach’s artworks use soft color palettes and stylized compositions to depict the tranquil beauty of women.
