The campaign ran from 7:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. (local time) on July 1 and 2.

According to VNA correspondents in Seoul, the initiative was carried out through cooperation between Ho Chi Minh City and its international sister cities, including the Seoul Metropolitan Government. The campaign introduced RoK residents and international visitors to the image of Vietnam’s largest city as a dynamic, modern, globally connected metropolis with a rich cultural identity.

The promotional content was displayed at several high-traffic locations, including Gangnam District and the Myeongdong pedestrian shopping area, two of Seoul’s best-known destinations. Beyond showcasing Vietnam and Ho Chi Minh City, the campaign also strengthened people-to-people exchanges and deepened cooperation between Ho Chi Minh City and local governments across the RoK.

The RoK is currently one of Ho Chi Minh City’s leading partners in investment, trade, and tourism. Over the years, the city has established cooperative and sister-city relationships with a number of Korean localities, including Seoul, creating a strong foundation for expanding collaboration in the fields of economy, culture, education, and people-to-people exchanges.

The display of images commemorating the 50th anniversary of Ho Chi Minh City in cities around the world, including Seoul, further demonstrates the effectiveness of the city's international cooperation network in local diplomacy while enhancing Ho Chi Minh City’s image and standing on the global stage.
