Vietnam-Thailand Friendship Association Coordinates with Nghe An Province to Prepare for 50th Anniversary of Vietnam-Thailand Diplomatic Relations
On July 8 in Nghe An Province, the Vietnam-Thailand Friendship Association and the People's Committee of Nghe An Province agreed on a coordinated plan to organize activities marking the 50th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Vietnam and Thailand (August 6, 1976 - August 6, 2026).

On July 8 in Hanoi, the Viet Nam Union of Friendship Organizations (VUFO) presented the "For Peace and Friendship Among Nations" Medal to Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Malaysia to Vietnam Dato' Tan Yang Thai. The distinction recognizes the Ambassador's contributions to promoting friendship, people-to-people exchanges, and expanding substantive cooperation between Vietnam and Malaysia during his tenure.

Vietnam-USA Society Expands Partner Network, Promotes Bilateral Cooperation
On July 7 in Hanoi, the Vietnam-USA Society (the Society) held its conference to review its work during the first six months of 2026 and outline priorities for the remaining six months of the year. The Society identified expanding its network of partners in the United States, strengthening people-to-people diplomacy, and promoting practical cooperation between the two countries as key priorities. Vice President of the Vietnam Union of Friendship Organizations (VUFO) Dong Huy Cuong attended the conference and delivered a keynote address.
STEM Robotics Training for 30 Teachers and Students at Lao-Vietnamese Friendship School in Sekong
On June 27-28, 2026, the Consulate General of Vietnam in Pakse, in collaboration with the Vietnamese Association of Sekong Province, Champasak - Lam Dong Gifted High School (Champasak Province), and the Lao - Vietnamese Friendship School of Sekong, organized a STEM Robotics training program for 30 teachers and students of the Lao - Vietnamese Friendship School.
First Congress of Vietnam-Cambodia Friendship Association of Bac Ninh
On June 29 in Bac Ninh, the Vietnam - Cambodia Friendship Association of Bac Ninh held its first General Assembly for the 2026-2031 term, marking the consolidation of its organization following the merger of the Vietnam-Cambodia Friendship Association of Bac Giang with the former Bac Ninh Association. In the new term, the Association aims to recruit more than 500 members, build a strong and cohesive organization, and further promote its core role in people‑to‑people diplomacy.
