“Debug Your Life”: When Gen Z Pauses to Restart Their Zero-Stress Mindset
Sunlight comes through the window. A deep breath. A sip of ice cold Zero Degree Green Tea. The cool, refreshing flavor spreads gently, helping the mind “refresh” and return to balance.
For young people, resting is not running away. It’s how they “debug” life: easing stress, cooling down the mind, and recharging their energy so they can break through stronger.
And sometimes, that journey begins with nothing more than a chilled bottle of green tea in the middle of a busy day.
When the coder shuts his laptop and cools down life in Nam Cat Tien Forest
Hoang Tuan Phong (26, Dong Nai), a front end developer at a startup, lives in sync with deadlines and bugs.
“There were weeks I worked through the night. I coded so much that everything blurred together. At one point, I couldn’t tell whether the bug was the error or if I was the one crashing,” he laughed.

That was when he decided to disconnect completely. He packed his backpack and went deep into Nam Cat Tien Forest to “debug” his own mind. Surrounded by a flowing stream, sunlight filtering through the leaves, and birds calling across the forest, Phong shut his laptop, set up his tent, and opened a bottle of Zero Degree Green Tea.
After a long trip, that first sip was cool and delicious. The flavor from pure natural green tea leaves with EGCG spread smoothly down his throat, washing away the stress that had built up.
“It felt like a gentle wave of positive energy flowing through me. I wasn’t just relieving stress. I was actually resetting my internal system,” Phong said.
When he returned to the keyboard, the lines of code were still dense, but his mindset had changed.
All it took was one quiet moment and one refreshing sip of pure green tea for his spirit to feel light again, back at a “Zero Degree” state. Clear, calm, and ready for the next breakthrough.
Trading the city for the countryside: Inspiration from stillness
Finding his own way to “debug,” Vu Ngoc Duc (30, interior designer) went through months of creative burnout.
“I used to hang out late to forget the pressure, but it only left me empty. Exhausted. Out of ideas,” he recalled.

One day, Duc realized he wasn’t lacking ideas. He was lacking silence.
Since then, every weekend he rides back to Go Cong (Dong Thap), where rice fields stretch endlessly, the wind moves through the paddies, and the smell of soil fills the air.
In that stillness, he slowly opens a bottle of Zero Degree Green Tea to cool down life.
A cold sip, the fresh natural green tea flavor with EGCG spreading gently, sweeping away the fatigue and bringing back a bright, positive mindset.
“I could feel each layer of tension loosening. Stress just melted away. Ideas came naturally, like sunlight breaking through fog,” Duc said.
For him, the cool natural green tea flavor is a catalyst for creativity, helping his mind return to a “Zero Degree” state, where inspiration begins again.
